EXPOLINGUA Berlin, Germany’s only international fair for languages and cultures closed last night with a total number of 14 858 visitors. 191 exhibitors from 33 countries were represented at the Russian House of Science and Culture in Berlin. EXPOLINGUA Praha 2008, 18th International Fair for Languages, Education and Cultures, came to a successful end on Saturday, November 8th. This year’s event was bigger and more diverse than ever before: 102 exhibitors from 21 countries took part in the exhibition. A total of 5,893 visitors came to gather information about language learning and teaching, exceeding last year’s attendance.

The Call for Proposals for the 8th Languages & Business is now open. Everyone interested in multilingualism and intercultural communication in businesses is welcome to submit a proposal until January 9th, 2009.
