State sponsored cyber attacks and preparing to fight a cyber attack will be key topics for discussion at “The Third International Forum on E-Learning for Defence and Security” on November 28th at Online Educa Berlin. General Johannes Kert, Military Representative of the Estonian Delegation to NATO and former Commander of the Estonian Armed Forces, will speak at the Forum about lessons learned from the cyber attacks that Estonia faced earlier this year.

New Virtual Academy will improve European Civil Protection
The European Commission is to use innovative new communication and training methods to improve civil protection. Virtual class rooms, blended learning, e-learning, online forums and chat rooms will be part of the new European Virtual Academy for Civil Protection, which is being developed by the European Commission and a core group of experts from several European countries.
