Top Security Trainers at Berlin Conference

Senior figures from the Swiss Police, Interpol, the Scottish Police, NATO and the UK Emergency Planning College will join other world’s leading experts of security training in Berlin on December 2nd for this year’s Security and Defence Learning Forum 2009, the fifth International Conference on Technology Assisted Learning for Security, Defence and Emergency Services.

Keynote speakers at the conference, which has established a reputation as Europe’s leading event on technology-assisted learning for the security sector, will include:

  • Ken Lawson, Director of Training, UK Emergency Planning College
  • Dale Sheehan, Director, Police Training and Development, INTERPOL
  • Peter-Martin Meier, Director, Swiss Police Institute

Topics for discussion at the conference will include future gaming, point of need learning, improving cooperation, and using social media and future developments.
