Security and Defence Learning 2010: Call for Papers
The New Security Foundation is interested to receive proposals for presentations at the forum. Themes for discussion are likely to include:
- Training for new threats and challenges
- Training for cyber security (including data management, transfer, cyber attack, cyber warfare etc)
- Virtual reality and simulation
- Police training
- Early warning systems
- E-Learning in conflict zones
- Tools for autonomous learning
- New learning technologies and their use in the security sector
- Developments and challenges in military training and learning
- Interdisciplinary training
- Academia and the new security environment
- The role of new media in combating corruption
- ROI in training and evaluating e-learning success in security
The list is not exhaustive but merely a selection of some of the themes that may be discussed at this year's forum. At this stage, the organisers would still be prepared to consider proposals for other topics for discussion.
