Workshop on ICT for Children with Learning Disabilities
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, or Cerebral Palsy are severe disorders which are considered incurable. During the seminar “ICT for children with learning disabilities” at Online Educa Berlin 2006, it will be demonstrated how even these severe disorders can be treated and a methodological approach will be introduced, that is not only strategically important for Personal Growth Therapy (HRD, etc.) but for the development of Information and Communication Technologies. Within the personal growth scenario, the information and all aspects of communication should have developing content that is worldwide in scope.
It demands input from e-development, e-inclusion, and e-learning, not only for children, but for developers, parents, and personal growth communities. The seminar will include a demonstration of the desktop for developers (researchers and practitioners) based on the developing content.
“The efficiency of our methodology and our tools is the result 30 years research experiences. For the past ten years, we have been doing research with ICT support in schools within the therapeutical project. Specially trained students and graduates of this University participate as developers in our researches. "ICT for children with learning disabilities" and at the Moscow State University of Service”, explains Dr. Vladimir Matvievski from the Innovative Educational Center in Moscow, who is leading the workshop.
