ICT Best Practices: From April 21 to 23, the capital of Burkina Faso, Ouagadougou hosted the second annual "Africa ICT Best Practice Forum" in cooperation with Microsoft. The event creates an efficient and effective platform for governments from across Africa to share experiences and demonstrate practical examples of successful technology solutions. It attracted about 320 delegates from 39 countries, including a large crowd of ministers and civil servants from all over the Continent. ICWE acted as the event organiser for Microsoft.

ICWE partners with MEDEA Awards: ICWE is partner of the recently launched MEDEA awards, which like to encourage innovation and good practice in the use of digital moving images and sound in education. The award ceremony will take place in November 2008 at Online Educa Berlin. Entries can be submitted until September 30th. More…
